English alphorn duo Helen and Neil Grundy welcome you to our website
As French horn players, we both developed an early interest in the sound and romance of the alphorn. ------------------------------------------------------------ Although the alphorn is deeply rooted in Swiss tradition, we are keen to widen interest in the instrument and its music in Britain. I REALLY enjoyed the lunchtime music. So unusual and totally enjoyable. I have not heard an Alpine Horn played since I was 14. So haunting and beautiful. I can understand why you both fell in love with the sound it produces.. Thank you again for the enjoyable experience.
