March 6th – Bury Parish Church. Helen performed the Suite, 4+1, by Jean Daetwyler with the BGS Brass Quartet – Chris Parsons and Michael Page (trumpets) James Scholes (horn), John Findon trombone).

March 21st – Jumbles Country Park. The first performance of the season

March 22nd – Holcombe Duo performed with the KEMS Concert Band at MADS Theatre in Macclesfield. Dennis Armitage’s ‘Alphorn Ballad’ and ‘Alphorn Polka’ by Gottfried Aegler were performed under the direction of Anthony Houghton

May 1st – Church of St. Thomas a’Becket, Shirenewton. Helen returned to Monmouth for a second perfomance of ‘Alp-Sommer’ by Hans-Jurg Sommer

June 9th – Sheffield Cathedral. Holcombe Duo performed the Dennis Armitage ‘Alphorn Ballad’ and Gottfried Aegler ‘Alphorn Polka’ with the University Wind Orchestra under the direction of Anthony Houghton. Photos

June 27th – Exeter Cathedral. Holcombe Duo took part in the 11000 Anniversary of Exeter Diocese. Photos

July 2nd – Moses Gate Country Park, Bolton. Holcombe Duo entertained a group of W.I. members as they picnicked after a guided walk discovering wild orchids.

August 1stSwiss National Day. Holcombe Duo performed traditional Swiss chorales as guests of the Manchester Swiss Club arrived to celebrate Swiss National Day and also during the firework display.

August 7th-23rd – Holcombe Duo’s annual visit to Bernese Oberland, Switzerland. Performances of Swiss chorales at Bort, First, Grindelwald, Maennlichen, Kleine Scheidegg, Pfinstegg, Bussalp and the capital, Bern Photos

September 2nd-7th – In Italy at the Stresa Festival Photos
